3D PRINTING: QUICK FAQs

In order to provide pricing for 3D printing, you must submit 3D file(s) for review. Once we have reviewed file(s) we can provide accurate pricing. Price has various factors that are taken into account, such as time, material and post process. Ex: An egg can cost $50 if its hollow with at 1/8″ shell, but same size egg solid, can cost $500. This is why its important to provide a file. We can also help you chose the best material for your needs once we see the file and can advise you on any edits that your file(s) needs for 3D Printing

The best way to know is by having us review your file(s). Use our Submission Page to help expedite a response. Having the file in our hands will let us know how long it will take per your Submission form answer/specs. There are too many factors involved in setting up print files. Its best to submit files so that we can review.

Sure, that is not a problem. As long as your previous 3D Modeler knows how to 3D Model specifically for 3D Printing. A lot of times, when some one does not have experience 3D Modeling, specifically for 3D Printing, they are not familiar with how to build a 3D Printable Model. There are a lot of things to consider when creating a 3D Model for 3D Printing, ie. Support Material Placement (link to info about support material), Minimum thickness of parts (Link to “Does my model/ file pass the test?“) They need to consider both printer and material limitations. You may have them use our website as reference but they may end up wasting a lot of time if they misinterpret specs. We can help you avoid this by having us 3D Model from scratch.

Yes! We would need to 3D Scan your sculpture in order to create a Digital of it. Once we have it in 3D, we can Reverse Engineer and create a 3D Printable File.
